Cancellation policy
How to reschedule or cancel, and what happens to a paid deposit.
Last updated: 26 July 2026
Rescheduling or cancelling
You can reschedule or cancel any confirmed, upcoming booking yourself from your customer portal, free of charge, right up until the appointment time. Cancelling frees the slot for another customer immediately.
Home visits
For home visits, please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or move an appointment, so the time can be offered to someone else.
The £5 deposit (once enabled)
When online deposits are switched on, a £5 deposit will be requested to confirm a home visit booking. If you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice, the deposit will be honoured against your new or future booking. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or do not attend, the deposit may be retained to cover the reserved time.
Our cancellations
If we need to cancel or move an appointment (for example, due to illness or an emergency), we will contact you as soon as possible and offer the next available time. Any deposit paid will be fully honoured or refunded in that case.
